Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA)
About the role
This is an exciting and entry-level role in a high-growth clinical-stage business. It provides the opportunity for significant learning, career progression and experience across all aspects of clinical study management.
As a Clinical Trials Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in providing support and assistance to CRAs and clinical project teams on all project-related activities from project initiation to closure. You will report to our highly experienced Head of Clinical Operations, who will provide mentorship in the role and support your career progression.

- Basic knowledge of clinical research and ICH-GCP guidelines.

- An ability to build effective working relationships with peers, stakeholders and site staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting CRAs and the broader Project Team in a variety of clinical trials related activities and processes.
- Conducting in-house monitoring and co-site visits (selection, initiation, and monitoring).
- Generating trial related documents and managing appropriate documentation filing.
- Organizing clinical materials supplies including Investigational Products to clinical sites.
- Updating and maintaining project systems and project plans.
- Assisting the project team in managing project budgets, invoices and site payments.
- Coordinating and planning project team meetings.
- Supporting study startup activities including HREC and regulatory submissions.
- Performing general administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field
- Proficiency in applying ICH_GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements
